Angela has extensive insurance defence experience in first party insurance claims, gained within the legal department of one of the largest insurance companies in the world. She has handled all aspects of accident benefits litigation claims, including catastrophic impairment matters, inter-company disputes and fraudulent claims.

Angela has re-focused her practice to assist injured parties and their families. With her vast knowledge of the insurance industry, how they work, and how they value claims, Angela has the ability to ensure that her clients receive the compensation that they deserve.

She has a particular passion for statutory accident benefits, ensuring that insurance companies adhere to their good faith duties and obligations towards their own insureds. Angela offers her clients valuable insight from a defence perspective, while at the same, has the ability to explain the process from the perspective of the injured person.

Angela is a principled and passionate advocate, who does not shy away from any challenge. At the same time, she is pragmatic and reasonable in her thinking. With her knowledge and experience, coupled with her strong negotiating and advocacy skills, she obtains the best results for her clients.

Angela has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licensing Appeal Tribunal, as well as the Ontario Small Claims Court.

When not in the office, Angela loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves to cook and host parties, and always has a house full of guests.
