Jennifer Hoffman is an accomplished lawyer in personal injury litigation and settlement, with over a decade of experience at leading personal injury law practices in Toronto, serving clients across the province.
Bringing a sharp and experienced eye to every case, she offers her clients the most direct path to securing their rights and interests, providing honest guidance and compassion but decisive attention in every situation, from the simplest matter to the most complex. Jennifer knows there is a personal angle to every injury claim, and unique challenges faced by each claimant. Her goal is to establish the best possible outcome for each client, and she takes satisfaction in devoting herself and her resources fully to that aim. Besides excellent legal credentials and multiple bar memberships, Jennifer has advanced training in neuroscience, which complements her legal expertise with insight into potential medical aspects of her clients’ claims, especially in head injury cases. This is an advantage in skills and understanding personal injury cases which very few lawyers share. Jennifer is passionate about using her skills to help people through challenges, and navigating the justice and health care systems with confidence to achieve maximum compensation for her clients. In doing so, she helps level the power difference between personal injury victims and large institutional defendants such as insurance companies.
Jennifer has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 2010, and holds memberships in the Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association. She has served on the Board of Directors for OTLA and is a Board Member of the Canadian Mental Health Association. She has been a partner at a preeminent personal injury law firm in Toronto, and worked alongside one of Canada’s most accomplished and respected practitioners in this field for many years. Her LLB/JD and her M.Sc. in neuroscience are from the University of Western Ontario. Outside of her law practice, Jennifer enjoys keeping fit and active, spending quality time with family, and making the most of Toronto’s diverse food scene.
